EPS & TLS Lighting Day

 

The EPS & TLS Lighting Day is on the 25th March 2015

To coincide with The Photography Show at the NEC there will be a practical lighting workshop in Coventry run by the Event Photographer Society and The LIGHT Side

The day is aimed at those that want to improve their lighting techniques using Off Camera Flash and Studio Flash. Weather permitting this will feature both outside and inside photography.

The day will consist of a mixture of teaching, practical demonstrations and control of both the lighting and the models. You need your notebooks and your cameras.

EPS & TLS Lighting Day So that Attendees get as much out of the day as possible they will be split in to 3 groups and see 3 presentations provisionally titled "The Dark Art of Lighting", "An Addition of Light and Colour" and "Dancing from 1 to 1/8000" Weather permitting this will include both studio and outside lighting. 0900-0920 Registration

1200-1300 Session 3 1300-1400 Lunch 13.20-1400 The Pose Off - There are 2 things that need to come together to produce good people portraits and that is the lighting and the posing, so we are going to cover some of the finer points of posing that can make the crucial difference 1400-1640 Free / Guided Shooting - You will have the opportunity to practice the demonstrated techniques and photograph the models under the guidance of the teaching session presenters, so feel free to bring your own cameras.
